A new comedy night, in a newly refurbished venue will not only be great news for the residents of Maldon, but for comedy lovers across the Blackwater Estuary. We have spared no expense in ensuring that Thursday 20th October will be a great first night with;
Rob Rouse has just starred as William Shakespeare’s manservant Bottom in Ben Elton’s keenly anticipated new sitcom Upstart Crow alongside David Mitchell. 
A natural performer, Rob has many voices in his head and, when unleashed, his shows become more like a hysterically funny play than one man telling very funny tales. TV includes 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Spoons, The Friday Night Project, Grown-Ups and Comedy Shuffle with Rob Rouse.

A misspent youth and dead end jobs may have shaped Mike Gunn‘s cynical, yet hilarious, stand-up. Proudly pessimistic, Mike describes himself as “not a natural choice for a career in laughter” and started his career performing as a particularly dour undertaker. He has a rare ability to walk close to the line of what audiences find acceptable and yet still remain likeable and very, very funny. TV includes Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Celebrity Deal Or No Deal, Harry Hill’s TV Burp and The Comedy Store. Mike has also appeared on Soccer AM despite detesting football.
