Laugh-A-Thong 5

We return to Upperthong Village Hall on  Friday 14th October for the fifth Laugh-A-Thong and, once again, we have secured another four fantastic acts, all in Upperthong for the very first time.

    Archie Kelly is best known for his comic portrayal of Kenny “Dalglish” Senior in the award winning Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights. However, it is a live performer that Archie excels. He continues to act and perform regular stand-up and is in much demand on the corporate circuit. A cheeky, inoffensive and highly interactive style has endeared him to audiences both here and overseas.

   Nick Doody ‘s  career as a stand-up got off to a pretty good start, when Bill Hicks asked him to support him on his final tour of the UK.  Sharp and topical – he’s not afraid to say what he thinks; his brand of political comedy and satire has won him fans all over the country…in fact all over Twitter as well, where he’s polled as one of the influential names in British comedy.
