Comedy @ The Vale Club, Congleton. Friday 30th June
With the last two shows this year selling out in advance getting your tickets early for our next show at Congleton’s Vale Club would be a good idea!
Tom Deacon is one of the hottest young stand-ups on the circuit today, having already performed on The Rob Brydon Show and Dave’s One Night Stand. After winning The Chortle Student Comedian Award in 2007, Tom took part in Edinburgh Festival’s longest running group comedy show, The Comedy Zone in 2008, which previously launched the careers of Russell Howard, Harry Hill and Al Murray. As well as being an accomplished comedian Tom has presented his own shows on both BBC Radio 1 and Capital FM
‘Looks, confidence, charm and great material, expect other comics to lynch him’ Sunday Times
Now best known to the world for his portrayal of ‘Joe’ in Ken Loach’s 2016 BAFTA winning film I, Daniel Blake, Newcastle’s Gavin Webster is famed and respected by his peers for his uncompromising and unusual approach, hard edged routines, quick-fire pastiche pieces, moronic jokes and sardonic songs. Gavin’s contributions to stand up over the last twenty years were recognised when he was voted Best Live Stand Up by fellow comedians and promoters in the 2014 UK Comedy Awards and we’re looking forward to his Gatley debut.
‘Funny, clever and as brilliantly observed as you’ll find’ The Scotsman
