Comedy @ Orleans Primary School, Friday 18th March
We have run a few comedy nights in schools over the years (don’t worry, the kids are at home with their babysitters) and Friday 18th March at Orleans Primary School, St Margaret’s is our latest.
Newcastle’s Dave Johns bagged the lead in celebrated director Ken Loach’s new film I, Daniel Blake, in which he stars alongside Hayley Squires. The film is expected to debut at Cannes this Spring 2016. Dave has gained a reputation as an inventive, exciting and extremely funny comedian winning applause from his audiences, respect from his fellow comics and rave reviews from the critics.

Ireland’s Paddy Lennox is engaging, instantly likeable and combines topical material with observational routines. Paddy has supported many touring comics such as Rhod Gilbert and Micky Flanagan. Whilst playing all the usual big clubs, Paddy likes to gig the smaller ones too. Otherwise life gets too predictable.
