Saturday 5th December Darwen Library Theatre
Liverpool’s Steve Gribbin is regarded as one of the most productive acts on the circuit. Steve was one half of Eighties comedy duo Skint Video who were at the forefront of the burgeoning ‘alternative comedy’ scene. After 13 years, Steve went solo and now specialises in bang up to the minute, short sharp, topical songs. Steve has performed around the world and has appeared at every Glastonbury Festival for over last twenty years.
‘You can count the number of truly imaginative comic singers currently on the circuit on the fingers of one hand. One of this select band is Steve Gribbin.’ Time Out
Phil Walker is one of the most versatile acts working today. He began his career as a Butlins redcoat yet has still managed to perform in venues as divers as a scout hut in the Shetland Isles and a Portacabin in The Falkland Islands. A firm favourite at comedy clubs across the land we are delighted to have Phil in Darwen.
‘Walker is crackingly good’ Chortle
