We were delighted to be asked to book Alsager Civic‘s very first comedy night and we were even more pleased with the line up! The first show takes place on Saturday 13th May and tickets are on sale now.
Now best known to the world for his portrayal of ‘Joe’ in Ken Loach’s 2016 BAFTA winning film I, Daniel Blake, Newcastle’s Gavin Webster is famed and respected by his peers for his uncompromising and unusual approach, hard edged routines, quick-fire pastiche pieces, moronic jokes and sardonic songs. Gavin’s contributions to stand up over the last twenty years were recognised when he was voted Best Live Stand Up by fellow comedians and promoters in the 2014 UK Comedy Awards.
It was Matt Richardson’s first full length show that kick started his career when ‘Hometown Hero’ was named ‘Best 
New Show’ at the Leicester Comedy Festival. TV includes Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Celebrity Juice, Sweat The Small Stuff, Celebrity Squares, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! Now! and Big Brother’s Bit on the Side as well as numerous radio appearances.
